Hi, my name is Catherine Dichy and I'm an organic beauty transformer.
I believe true beauty begins within. It’s about feeling seen, safe, and confident, and allowing that inner glow to shine through. With decades of experience as a hair and makeup artist at the highest level of fashion, beauty, and editorial work, my purpose has always been to bring out the very best in people by enhancing their natural beauty, energy, and individuality.
This is my journey, from international runways and iconic brands to a deeper, more holistic approach to beauty, wellbeing, and self-care.
My Story
I want to share the journey that led me to become a hair and makeup artist dedicated to bringing out the best in people, helping them feel seen, safe, confident, and truly radiant through my work.
My career began as a junior apprentice at Klippoteket, the number one trend salon in Stockholm during the 80s and 90s. Driven by passion, dedication, and skill, I continued my education at Vidal Sassoon in London. After eight years, I was headhunted by Mika’s Model Agency as a hairstylist, which naturally opened the door to the world of makeup. Becoming a professional makeup artist was the next step — and from there, my career truly took off.
I traveled the world working with leading photographers, stylists, models, celebrities, and international clients such as H&M, Vanity Fair, and the Swedish Nobel House. Always curious and eager to evolve, I later studied special effects makeup in Los Angeles.
When I returned to Sweden, I realized that my true passion lay in natural beauty — in seeing people deeply, elevating their energy, and enhancing what is already there rather than masking it. This insight led to my first book, Natural Beauty, created after extensive research into organic skincare, holistic beauty, and wellbeing.
The book became a celebrated coffee-table book about wholeness, balance, and sustainable beauty — and it sold out. The positive news is that this journey didn’t stop there. I have now released a new, extended book that deepens the original vision, offering even more inspiration, tools, and knowledge around organic beauty, self-care, and inner balance.
Today, I continue to expand this work through what I love most: hosting workshops, personal sessions, lectures, and retreats inspired by my books. I teach mindset around self-care, health, and beauty, combined with hands-on learning in skincare, personal makeup, and hair. These experiences are offered both live and online, creating space for transformation, confidence, and natural radiance
My career started in various and unconventional educations. I have been educated by the best teachers around the world in all my different fields. My journey to where I am now has been a creative and targeted pathway and still moving forward.
